Spring is the perfect season for skating trips, and the Hermes Rollerskate team is preparing an outing that has it all! On Sunday, May 17, 2026, we are meeting in Glyfada for a unique experience on wheels.

📅 Sunday’s Schedule

15:00-15:15: We gather at the second marina of Glyfada to put on our skates (Address: Diadochou Pavlou 37-39, Glifada 166 75).

15:30: The seaside roller skate tour begins along the Glyfada pedestrian path (duration ~1 hour).

16:15-16:30: If the weather is on our side, we’ll take a quick dip in the sea to cool off!

16:45-18:00: We head to Chariton Square for the Rollerdance Festival Greece 2026.
Why are outdoor skating tours essential?
At Hermes Rollerskate, our excursions in real-world conditions aren't just about fun; they are a pivotal part of the roller skating lessons we offer. Transitioning from the controlled environment of a rink to the "outside world" is the key to a young skater's complete training.
Our outdoor tours focus on several key goals:

Spatial Awareness & Technique: Children learn to adjust their balance and manage different terrains (asphalt, tiles, inclines), which significantly boosts their skating technique.

Independence: Encountering real movement conditions helps children feel confident in their skills, freeing them from the need for constant supervision in enclosed spaces.

Socialization & Teamwork: During the tour, young athletes function as a team, learning to watch out for one another and communicate, strengthening our community bonds.

Confidence in Practice: By facing everyday obstacles on the road, children gain faith in themselves and their abilities on wheels.

Participation in the Rollerdance Festival
From 16:45 to 18:00, the action moves to Chariton Square for the Rollerdance Festival Greece 2026 (free entrace). This is a massive celebration of skating with music, rhythm, and dance. When we arrive at 17:00, the excitement will be at its peak!
Children will have the opportunity to meet other skaters from different areas and teams, experiment with new moves to the sound of music, and feel like part of the vibrant roller skating community in Glyfada.
